Falz shine a spotlight on police brutality in Nigeria after he dropped visuals to his song Johnny
Folarin Falana known by his stage name, Falz or Falz the badh guy, is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, lawyer and activist.
Following the #Endsars and #Endpolicebrutality in Nigeria, Falz the badh guy released a new video which channels the protest in the visuals of his song _Johnny_,which was released in his last year’s album Moral Instruction.
The Nigerian rapper remains at the forefront of the #Endsars and #Endpolicebrutality movement and this isn’t the first time Falz will channel whatever is happening in Nigeria in any of his visuals. Recollecting the video of This is Nigeria which was sending a direct message to the government and how Nigerians are being treated, although the video was asked to be taken down or else he will be charged by the MIMC.
In his new video, Expression and Emotions hits the rock so hard.
The new visuals have sent another bag full of messages across in the honour of the victims of the #Endsars and the #Endpolicebrutality in Nigeria.
The visuals shed more light on the violence that took place during the #Endsars protest,culminating in the shooting of lekki toll gate in Lagos by security Forces.
In the video, Falz raps about injustice and extra judicial killings in Nigeria using the character Johnny to represent the average youth. There was also footage showing the lekki toll shootings, as well as videos of victims of police killings and their families
The rapper has for a long time, been denouncing corruption of politicians, as well as the present insecurity caused by the abandonment of public authorities.
He has always been in the act to fight for social justice.
It high time Nigerians get the good they deserve without their lives in danger
